Today I had to wake up at 4:45 to get to the airport in what I thought would be enough time. Turns out when flying with AirTran you have to have your bags checked in 45 minutes before the flight. I got to the airport in plenty of time but AirTran was nice enough to move their baggage check in to the other side of the terminal from where it says it is so I got to walk a good distance which made me late for the "45 minute" rule by a whole 5 minutes. I get to the baggage check in desk frantic hoping I can get my bags on the flight that I was on. After I go through security and everything I have 10 minutes before my flight takes off and I make it to my seat in time currently sweating like a pig, curious as to if my bags were on the plane that I was on. And to top off I don't get find out if my bags were on the plane till I get to NYC and see if my bags fall out onto the carousel which I have always had an extreme urge to ride. I think they should make Airport theme parks, pretty sure they would be a hit! Needless to say I get to NYC happy as can be to find out that just one of my bags has made it to the destination. I know, you are asking yourself why couldnt they put both bags on the plane!? Would it really be that hard to pick up the bag directly after the one you just put on the plane!? Apparently so! So here I am sitting at the New York's Laguardia Airport waiting a few hours for the next flight from Dallas so that I can have my bag. This airport is such a tease because it points away from the city, I cant even sit here and admire the beautiful city that New York is, my new home. Part of the reason I am so annoyed is simply because I am excited to get out there and experience this damn city! I dont want to be sitting in an airport waiting on a bag when I could be getting mugged or what not . haha. A few hours later I finally got ALL of my bags and got to make the journey into the city to my new home. And here I am. :)
Yay Sean... we'll miss you. :(
